TTRA Drugs and Devices awards Tranche A funding

Nanomedx is pleased to announce it has been awarded a $750,000 Tranche A investment from the TTRA Drugs & Devices program. The funding is provided through MTPConnect’s Targeted Translation Research Accelerator (TTRA), an initiative of the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF).

The award builds on Nanomedx’s TTRA journey, which began with Round 1 project funding in 2022, and will support the clinical translation of the company’s novel therapy for peripheral artery disease, powered by its proprietary nanoparticle platform.

Moving towards first-in-human trials

With this new investment, Nanomedx enters a pivotal phase of development. In partnership with Bioshore Capital, the company will undertake GMP manufacturing of its formulation as it progresses towards first-in-human trials.

Programs such as the MRFF and the TTRA play an essential role in bridging the translational gap and enabling world-class Australian innovation to thrive.
